Membership
We would love to welcome you as a new member of the Flyin' Bears, EAA Chapter
1171. Membership is $24.00 per year and allows you to receive the benefits
stated below. However, before you can become a full member of Chapter
1171, you must first become a National EAA member. To join the
Experimental Aircraft Association please click on the following link.
We also encourage young flight enthusiast to join with a special Junior
membership for members under 18 years of age. Membership fees for Junior
members is $12.00 per year.
Non-residents planning to move or interested in moving to the New Bern area
can also become members through our Non-resident membership program. You
can keep up with activities and begin to get to know our member and programs
through this web site and direct mailings. Hopefully, your visits to New
Bern will correspond with our monthly meetings or just let us now your in town
and you can be assured a member will be at the airport to provide more
information about the Flyin' Bears and the New Bern area. Membership
fees for Non-residents is $12.00 per year.
